General safety in application, potential toxicity, therapeutic actions and benefits, possible interactions with herbs and drugs, and contraindications.
Module 4
Evidence based essential oils in pregnancy
This module covers 5 evidence based essential oils and their benefits in pregnancy. Nausea and digestive upset, stress, anxiety, and depression, fatigue, trouble sleeping, muscular aches and pains, problems surrounding vascular issues such as swelling.
Module 5
Essential oil usage in labor
Covers evidence based essential oils for labor and how to use oils to help prepare the birth space, calming anxiety, easing fatigue, coping with pain and discomfort, help with encouragement and easing fear.
Module 6
Designing an aromatic birth plan
Creation of plan to use essential oils during labor.
